Abstract
We examine a software supply chain based on a company case study. We discuss the nature of the software industry and study the characteristics of a typical software product and how it differs from other products that were traditionally focused on in supply chain management. We also discuss why certain well-known concepts in supply chain management are not applicable in a software supply chain.
