Abstract :
As a strategic resource and a key competency for the organizations, knowledge is of vital importance. For this reason, currently knowledge management has been included in the pioneering organizations´ agendas in order to appropriately use this valuable resource. Knowledge management emphasizes three major issues: human, structure and technology and it attempts to achieve organizational goal through correct production and use of knowledge resource by creating appropriate structures and necessary technological infrastructures within the organization and by focusing on humans. The present paper aims at explaining the relationship between knowledge management strategies, technology application and organization´s internal performance. Based on an empirical study among 180 banks in Khuzestan Province, and by designing a structural relationship, the results show that both knowledge management strategies (codification and personalization) are related with the information technology and internal performance directly and indirectly.
