The prefectural-level economy is a connection point between city economy and rural economy in country, and lies in the special position of the link in the national economic system. For the characteristics of the prefectural-level economy development, this paper puts forward evaluation of prefectural-level economy sustainable development ability of the method by factor analysis. The paper chooses sustainable development of prefectural-level city economy in Hebei province as the research object, the economic structure and economic performance and economic development potential in three aspects of design, using factor analysis method to sample composite scores for sustainable development of prefectural-level economy in hebei province, the economic evaluation for the ability to provide certain reference department.
