  • Abstract
Vibration-level characteristics of electromechanical properties in the xPb(Mn1/3Sb2/3)O3-yPb(Mg1/3 Nb2/3)O3-zPbTiO3 solid solution series have been studied using the constant current control method. The Vo,max, the effective vibration velocity at a 20°C rise in transducer temperature, was 0.2 m/s at the driving electric field-level Edo,max of 8.7×103 V/m for the composition x=0, y=0.68 and z=0.32. The Vo,max increased with x and it achieved 0.58 m/s at Edo,max=3.5×103 V/m for the composition x=0.05, y=0.63 and z=0.32. The Vo,max, however, seemed insensitive to z when x was constant
