Abstract :
In 1990, the electrical engineering design curriculum at Gannon University was revised. Senior Design was expanded into two courses - Senior Design (3 credits) and Senior Design Lab. and Seminar (3 credits). Both are writing intensive courses in the writing across The curriculum program. First Semester Senior Design is a formal review of the elements of design, procedures, and methodology. Second Semester Senior Design is a continuation of the first semester course plus six laboratory periods and six seminars (placements, graduate-school, ethics, patents, engineering in management, and OSHA)
