Abstract
This study explained on the effect of plasticizer ethylene carbonate (EC) on the properties of 30% poly (methyl methacrylate) grafted natural rubber grafted (MG30) doped with ammonium triflate (NH4CF3SO3) are investigated. The influence of salt concentration and with different proportion of plasticizer on the conductivity has been presented. The ac impedance study showed the conductivity reaches up to 10-4 Scm-1 at room temperature for the EC plasticized sample. The conductivity temperature-dependent studies depicted the plasticized and unplasticized MG30-ammonium salt complexes deviated from Arrhenius behavior. The X-Ray diffraction (XRD) spectra analysis demonstrated the incorporation of plasticizer was improved the amorphousness of MG30-NH4CF3SO3 electrolyte films. The energy band gap (Eg) was found to decrease with the increasing of plasticizer content.
