Abstract
This paper reports work on the development of an algorithm for the modelling of the interactions between a wire antenna and an arbitrarily shaped wire structure and prediction of the resulting radiation pattern. Comparisons are presented between predictions and the results of laboratory experiments conducted, as well as an example showing how the effect of a realistic structure on the radiation pattern of a transmitting antenna alters the field strength predicted for the antenna over a geographical area
