Abstract :
This paper presents an elegant method of implementing the Extra Element Theorem (EET) on the computer by using nullor method. The EET involves the calculation of two driving point impedances (dpi´s), the conventional dpi Zd and the null dpi Zn. The proposed method is used in the calculation of Zn. The method is simplified by using the equivalent RC-nullor circuits, thereby facilitating the use of a single (parallel) version of EET. This simplified and straightforward method is systematically applied to the linearised boost converter model to derive the fragmented version of duty ratio to output transfer function
