Abstract
With the increasingly shortage of conventional energy, solar energy, as one kind of an inexhaustible, and pollution-free clean source of energy, became the first choice of renewable energy. This paper designs an attitude automatic adjusting system which makes the solar panels perpendicular to the solar incidence line during the day to increase the absorption efficiency of solar energy. The system combines program control and sensor control to track the solar, and the working mode of the system is depended on by photodiode and algorithm of sun time. In different working circumstances, the system could work in different working modes: calendar-check tracking mode, four-quadrant detector tracking mode and night mode. Practical experiments show the system could meet the demands of detection accuracy, lower power, and higher reliability.
