Abstract :
An HF channel model that is applicable to a wide variety of HF channel propagation conditions is described. Differences between this model and existing narrowband models, and qualitative comparisons between synthetic outputs generated by the model and actual propagation data, are discussed. The results obtained in making these qualitative comparisons support the validity of the modeling approach. The framework of deterministic and stochastic models is presented
