Research on Methods of Investigation and Evidence Collection for P2P (Peer-to-Peer) Communication

In this article, two types of common peer-to-peer communication were analysed from different directions. Through summed up the deficiency that the traditional methods used in peer-to-peer networks cases and based on own characteristics of the P2P communication, a method of investigation and examination establishing in the P2P communication system was interpreted, the definition to the areas of the peer-to-peer communication examination was given which includes the P2P resource publishing server, peer-to-peer network data packets and P2P communication software client throughout the whole P2P communication system.
