  • Abstract
    The full name of HJ satellite is environment and disaster monitoring and prediction small satellite constellation. Currently two satellites of HJ satellites have been put into use. This paper will first introduce the present situation about fog detection using remote sensing technology. Then the spectral characteristics, geometric characteristics, time characteristic of HJ satellite will be analyzed based on fog detection. According to the analysis results, a fog detection model will be established and put into experiment combined with measured data. The results of experiment show that HJ satellite has good feasibility in fog detection.
