Abstract
The Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method is a numerical technique that can be used to solve electromagnetic boundary value problems in the time domain. However, this method requires large computer memory space and a long computation time. Distributed FDTD method is an improved FDTD method for overcoming this difficulty. We have developed our method with overlapping points for making the program easier. This paper describes our method and its implementations on a low-cost personal computer (PC) network. Finally, we confirm the high-speed computation with our method
