Abstract :
This paper introduces the fast reading software-AceReader Pro, and based on an empirical study, it discusses its functions in fast reading teaching. Then, based on the researches on comprehension and the two main technologies used in AceReader Pro, it puts forward that if some linguistic elements such as the nature of comprehension and the characteristics of EFL learners could be taken into consideration, the software should be more widely used in English teaching and improve reading in a more comprehensive way.
