Abstract :
This paper describe recent results obtained from the MMIC-design activity at Chalmers University. Our goal is to design all circuits needed for the front end of a 60 GHz WLAN and to build a system demonstrator. Issues such as suitable circuit topologies, dc-power consumption, MCM-technologies, circuit area minimization, cost, system design and simulation are important and will be addressed during the project. So far we have designed and experimentally verified a large number of circuits like mm-wave-amplifiers, up and down-converters, frequency multipliers, frequency dividers, VCO´s, and wide band amplifiers. Some results will be shown in this paper
