  • Abstract
    Etched-ground microstrip (EGM) transmission line of the shape of a ladder is analysed in this paper. We investigate the possibility of a single row of etched circles in a ground plane, which is compared with etched circles of matrix type by measurement and simulation. Using this result, a single row of EGM of the shape of a ladder is analysed. Various sizes of ladders are simulated. This structure has better characteristics than etched circles in a ground plane
