Abstract
The authors describe how technology classrooms are being used at Penn State to enhance engineering education and extend the students´ knowledge and intuitive understanding with interactive and captivating presentations. Also presented are concepts for future workstation technology classroom design, the use of advanced presentation tools in the classroom, the integration of technology into the curriculum, and the use of visualization tools to enhance hands-on laboratory work for students. Some examples of on-line presentations using technology classrooms in two mechanical engineering courses are presented
