Abstract
We propose a control system design to satisfy multiconstraints in time and frequency domains based on the framework of continuous time deadbeat control. We introduce two conditions for the free parameter of H∞ suboptimal controllers corresponding to deadbeat control and H∞ norm constraints. A class of controllers, which satisfy the two conditions simultaneously, is given by restricting the modified free parameters of H∞ controllers to commensurate time delay operators. The other constraints of L2 or L1 norm are also reduced to convex finite-dimensional problems under this framework, and these mixed problems can be solved numerically
