Abstract :
The risk of chemical site imposes on nearby vulnerabilities is of great concern and remains undefined. Risk severity index is devised to illustrate the risk levels in a simple and understandable way, with SLAB modeling the exposure of vaporizable substances. Risk and vulnerability mapping are both presented on the platform of GIS, and the distribution of vulnerability in different risk leveled areas is obtained, making the risk analysis effective and reliable. The result could be a suitable reference for off-site emergency planning and for chemical site locating.
