Abstract
This paper investigates four different rotor structures of 3 phase, 2.2 KW line start synchronous reluctance motors (LSSRELM). Four cylindrical pole rotor structures with aluminium and copper combinations are studied for synchronization capability, dynamic conditions and optimization process carried out for the power factor improvement through finite element analysis (FEA).
