Abstract
In this paper, the problem of delay dependent robust exponential stability for neutral system with time varying delays and structured uncertainties is investigated. By introducing a novel augmented Lyapunov functional, a new delay dependent sufficient stability criterion is obtained in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities LMIs. The proposed approach involves neither free weighting matrices, nor any model transformation, and it is shown that the new criteria can provide less conservative results than some existing ones. Numerical examples are considered to show the efficiency of the proposed stability approach.
