Abstract
The natural zeolite was investigated as an inexpensive and effective adsorbent for the adsorption of Amido Black 10B, Acid Red and Safranine T from its queous solution respectively. The effect of parameters such as the solution of pH, contact time, the doze of the natural zeolite and the initial concentration of dye was examined. The adsorption isotherm was well fitted to both the Langmuir and Freundlich models. The maximum adsorption capacity of the natural zeolite for Safranine T, Acid Red and Amido Black 10B was 1.1715mg/g, 1.0065mg/g and 0.1069mg/g respectively.
