Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. On January 2, 1983, Don, his wife Carole and their son Geoffey died when their private plane, piloted by Don, crashed into the Combahee River, Beaufort, South Carolina. Don was a member of D.A.C. since 1972. Over the years he served in many positions on the Design Automation Committee and always did an outstanding job. He was Finance Chairman, Arrangements Chairman, Publications Chairman, and in 1976 was General Chairman. Don will be greatly missed by everyone in the CAD / CAM community.
