Abstract :
The philosophy of Western standards is based upon specific absorption rate (SAR) estimations. Then, on the basis of an absorption model analysis, the protection levels are calculated. The accuracy of the procedure is on the level of one order of magnitude. On the other hand the levels and their frequency dependencies and frequency ranges are given with an accuracy of four significant figures. It is illogical as the result must not be given with an accuracy exceeding that of the introductory data. An example a proposed solution is presented.
