Abstract :
Interworking with existing systems is a key issue for the success of the telecommunication information networking architecture (TINA). The TINA service architecture and the stream binding mechanism have been investigated and ported on the Internet. Based on these concepts, a chat service combining data and voice has been implemented to demonstrate TINA-Internet interworking scenarios. The field trial results are outlined and further migration steps are also investigated
