Abstract :
A time-domain approach is presented to calculate electromagnetic fields around a small-size EMP simulator. The method employs the method of moments for numerical treatment of the governing electric field integral equation. Having obtained the field distribution around the developed EMP simulator, one can quantify the shielding requirements for nearby sensitive equipment.
