Abstract :
Moodle is a license free open-source software platform. All those involved in the business of eTraining also call it as a Learning Management System (LMS), or Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Moodle logs all activities for all training objects (TO) hosted in the system. In its menu it contains a unique tool called ldquoReportsrdquo which may provides vital statistics to help business consultants, trainers and content experts to improve the quality of eTraining programs for SMEs. As an example this paper analyzes the use of Moodle ldquoReportsrdquo containing data of ldquoviewsrdquo and ldquopostsrdquo for four SME training courses offered as a part of SME Certificate program. Data obtained from these ldquoReportsrdquo can also be integrated with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application.
