Abstract
The genealogical information is the best resources of the family histories which contain large amount of familiespsila information and relationships between members. Despite the improvement of genealogy searching method, users still face the difficulties of searching. This paper is going to discuss the design and development of suitable techniques that improve efficiency of Genealogical Information Searching System. Regarding the developed system, object oriented structures are defined to manage compiled detail of genealogy systematically. BBS technique is applied to search for two particular peoplepsilas relationship and family information. Space Tree is used to visualize hierarchy information that dynamically lays out branches to best fit the existing screen space. The result of improvement certainly benefits the exploration of large hierarchiespsila structure.
