Abstract
Demand side is one of the entities of the power market. Participation of this entity will have some advantages such as price decreasing, system peak shaving and some other affects. This paper develops a cost function for a large consumer to change the normal load profile to achieve minimum cost of consumption. For this purpose, the consumer needs for price forecasting that developed by a time series method. Finally a case study has been studied and the results show the validity of this method.
