Abstract
Semi-crystalline nylon 1010 is one of the most important engineering plastics. It can be quenched into the completely amorphous state, further thermal or thermo-mechanical treatment will lead to crystallize partially and the degrees of crystallinity (Xc) can be controlled easily in the range of 0-50% . However, during investigating the chain segment motion and the charge storage for amorphous nylon 1010 using the thermally stimulated depolarization currents (TSDC), the amorphous sample changed gradually into the crystalline state with changing polarization temperature (Tp). The crystallization affected the relaxation behaviors of chain motion and charge storage. In this article, the effect of polarization temperature for quenched nylon 1010 is reported.
