Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate theoretically the microwave-absorption mechanisms of hydrogen plasma in carbon nanotubes based on the principle of interaction between the microwave and the liberal electron, and an expression of microwave-absorbing attenuations coefficient is obtained. The numerical results indicate that there is strong absorption attenuation in the range of 0.5 GHz~4.5 GHz when ne = 2.281×1017 m-3 and ve = 22.0 GHz, but displaying weak absorption in the range of 10~30 GHz. The experimental phenomena of strong microwave absorption (only around 2.45 GHz) by Hydrogen Plasma in CNTs could be explained.
