Abstract
In order to extract global skin friction from the evolution image of fluorescence oil-film, the fluorescent oil film evolution equation is introduced. On the basis of this theory, the method for solving the global skin friction from the evolution image of fluorescence oil-film is derived from Horn & Schunk´s optical flow technology and the variational method. By means of numerical simulation, the method is verified. Finally, through the study of the inclined impinging jet, the application prospect of the method in specific experiments is demonstrated.
