Abstract :
With the rapid deployment of IPTV services on the Internet, content protection has become an extremely important issue and raised much concern. IP CAS and IP DRM are two primary content protection technologies in this field at present. In this paper, a detailed analysis of principles and implementations of the two techniques is given, and the comparison and contrast between them are also carefully made. In the end, we provide some challenges and potential trend and research topics in this area
