Engineering education is the main channels that cultivate and also supply a great number of talents of engineering technology and engineering management for national construction and steady development. Engineering quality guarantee system is the key to improving the tendency of more emphasis on teaching knowledge and less emphasis on cultivating capability. Engineering quality guarantee system can also be divided into two parts, outside schools and inside schools. The establishment and exploration of quality guarantee system of engineering education in China can use foreign experiences of education quality guarantee system for reference. It also involves national rules of law, administrative policies academic standards and the requirements of discipline construction as standards. This paper draws for inside-school guarantee system example on Tongji University, which has exerted great efforts and began the preliminary attempts of constructing the guarantee system during recent years.
