Abstract :
According to the computing formula of floating double leading shoe drum brake damping factor, brake torque and vehicle equivalent inertia, taking BJ1029A lorry front brake for example, carry out theoretical calculation. Around the simulation design and structural optimization of the drum brake, explored the combination application of ADAMS software and ANSYS software to set up rigid-flexible coupling virtual prototype model of the drum brake, made simulation analysis for the model and simulation design for the initial angle of the friction plate based on ADAMS.
