  • Abstract
In this paper, we propose a practical system of private communication with chaos based on DSP implementation. Many methods that assume analog circuits have been proposed in this field. However, it seems difficult to maintain both the transmitter and receiver with very high accuracy. Therefore, we try to use digital signal processor (DSP) for modulation and demodulation systems by assuming the digital transmission line such as local area networks (LAN). Moreover, since DSP is one of single-chip computers which use finite length variables in computation, it is necessary to consider the overflow problem and computation error problem. In this paper, we try to investigate these problems in practical applications, and propose a new algorithm that has perfect recovery characteristics out of transmitted data
