Abstract :
The structure parameters and eddy current field circumstance of magnetic coupling have influence on the ability of magnetic torque of the magnetic coupling, as well as the efficiency and reliability of the magnetic pump set, so it is necessary to research into the impacts of parameters of magnetic coupling on the eddy current power loss, such as the radius, thickness, relative magnetic conductivity of isolating shell, etc. The eddy current field of magnetic coupling was analyzed by ANSYS software, then the eddy current power loss of magnetic coupling with different arrangement of permanent magnets was studied. The results show that the eddy current power loss is directly proportional to the thickness, radius, relative magnetic conductivity of isolating shell and the speed of magnetic rotor The finite element analysis of the eddy current field in magnetic coupling of the magnetic pump is of immense significance to both the theory and practical applications.
