Abstract :
Vehicle´s central steering test was an important test project of handling and stability evaluation. First, in the ADAMS software, vehicle dynamics model was established. According to the standards, the central steering virtual test was carried out, and the test transient response signal were recorded, based on experimental data processing method, the yaw rate with the steering wheel rotation curve and lateral acceleration with steering angle curves were plotted. Finally, according to the extracted test index values, the handling stability of the car was a rough evaluated. The paper is a try for the central steering virtual test and evaluation.
