  • Abstract
    The miner Anti-fire colloid preparation machine was designed referred to the principle of mixer designing in the chemical industry. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) program FLUENT was used to simulate the inner flow of the colloid preparation machine which was filled with special fly ash slurry by the MRF method. Results of simulation showed the space of double-leaf arrangement had a significant effect on the mixing result for the double leaf blade high and low overlapping arrangement´s mixer and processed the optimal space. The affection of baffle width to the mixing effect was also analyzed and acquired some valuable conclusions. The machine was manufactured based the research and the application verified the simulation´s significance.
