Abstract :
To ensure secure operation of wind turbine, the mode analysis was conducted by ANSYS finite element software in design of wind turbine. The reasonable predigestion of wind turbine mode and selection of boundary condition were done in analysis. The columnar tower was analyzed according to shell cells, where the grids were densely laid in stress concentrated region or high stress gradient region and sparsely laid in stress slowly changed region. Stiffness of the blade was replaced by equivalent stiffness. The results indicate that the inherent frequency of wind turbine is not coincided with the excitation frequency of rotor, and the system can operate steadily in the design condition.
