Abstract :
In present paper we report the application of a large clusters model to the analysis of upconversion fluorescence decay at 980 nm in preforms based on caesium-silicate glasses heavily doped with erbium. It is well known that cesium-silicate glasses are suitable for the preparation of high concentration erbium-doped fibers
