Abstract :
This paper describes an ingenious way of using Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones to control the PC applications with the help of a software application, which is based on client server architecture. The application ldquoapplication remote control using Bluetoothrdquo or (ARC) along with the mobile phone possess the ability to control various software applications such as Windows media player and Microsoft PowerPoint slideshows. It can also control electrical devices such as LEDs, fans using parallel (LPT) port of the PC, and PC monitor.
