Abstract :
An in-service individual line monitoring technique was experimentally demonstrated for wavelength division multiplexed passive optical networks (WDM-PONs). We also developed a method to compensate for the temperature-dependent channel drift of WDM-PONs containing an arrayed-waveguide grating router (AWGR) by using this technique
