Abstract :
In this paper, a shape reconstruction method for electromagnetic tomography based on contour deformations exploiting level set method is proposed. The algorithm is able to reconstruct the shape of multiple perfect conducting objects in two-dimensions. Incident waves are assumed to be TM (transverse magnetic) plane waves. The fast marching method is used in reinitialization process which has drastically improved the velocity of the reconstruction. The numerical results clearly shows that this inversion algorithm provides accurate reconstructions of objects from initial guess.
