Abstract :
A novel optical surface plasmon propagating along a dielectric plane that contains numerous metallic nanoparticles is discovered analytically. The surface plasmon wave results from jumping of dipole resonance of electrons in each metallic nanoparticle. The surface plasmon may be available for narrow band-pass optical filter fabrication for optical communication systems.
