Abstract :
In this paper, an infinite frequency selective surface (FSS) is modelled using a 3D finite-element time-domain (FETD) method. Normal plane wave incidence is assumed. The numerical results are compared with experimental results. The latter are obtained using a finite large-scale FSS. For accurate modelling, over a wide frequency range, an exact Floquet modal absorbing boundary condition (FMABC) is employed
