Abstract
This paper presents preliminary measurements taken on a novel PVDF-coated D-fibre interferometric antenna to detect RF signals. A sensitivity of 1.7 μrad/V/m per meter of fibre was achieved with a 10 cm fibre length coated with 100 μm thickness of PVDF. In addition, the D-fibre antenna exhibited less radial resonances than when using conventional circularly symmetric fibre
