Abstract :
This paper describes the development of a frequency set-on oscillator that sustains oscillations set up by an instruction pulse injected into the circuit. These oscillations are set-up at the modal frequency closest to the frequency of the instruction pulse injected, where the spacing of the modes is determined by the delay time. Seven modes of oscillation in the frequency range 9.85 to 10.05 GHz were achieved with an output power of ap 13dBm employing a delay line of 50 nS, giving a modal spacing of 20 MHz
