Abstract :
Efficient and tunable single-frequency lasing operations are demonstrated in novel photosensitive Er,Yb-doped fiber grating lasers. Results show high slope efficiencies of 31% at 1536 nm and 26.1% at 1562 nm, as well as wavelength tuning over 11 nm and 25 nm in 1535 nm and 1550 nm wavelength regions, respectively
