Abstract :
Soft ferrites are ceramic electromagnetic (magnetically soft) material primarily used as cores for high frequency inductors and transformers. The cores are wound with turns of wire or assembled around coils of wire to transformers. Soft ferrite important electromagnetic properties that need to be measured and/or calculated. Methods used to measure various electromagnetic properties (inductance, hysteresis curves, impedance) of soft ferrite cores are presented. Formulas required, calculations, equipment and circuits are examined
